Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA)

Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repair procedures can be done surgically or through minimally invasive techniques. AAA procedures are used to treat an aneurysm (abnormal enlargement) of the abdominal aorta. Endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) is the minimally invasive procedure that places stents inside a blocked artery and allows blood flow through the stent in place of the artery.
