DETROIT (WXYZ) — Today is “Go Red for Women” Day! It’s a reminder to promote good heart health for the ladies in our lives.

7 Action News reporter Syma Chowdhry interviewed Robin Martin, who had a scary wake up call and now wants to inspire others to live a healthy life.

This foster mom raised four of her own children and was in the process of adopting four young kids when she got the news.

“Like, if something happened to me, who is going to raise them?”
